Quick and easy

Here I am again and would like to show you my 3th card as a guest designer for Chocolate Baroque. This time I made two simple cards.

 

I used the stamps from these sheets: 

Floral Notes

Tangled Fragments

Harlequin Fragments

 

To make this card you need a stamping tool. Place a piece of white watercolor paper on the stamping tool, attach the background stamp to the stamping tool. Apply two colors of Distress Oxide (Salvaged Patina and Kitsch Flamingo) or Distress Ink (Salvaged Patina and Shaded Lilac) on the stamp. Let this air dry. 

Stamp the flower with waterproof black ink on the background print and color the stamp with watercolor pencils 

As a finishing touch, I attached a text sticker from the Idea-ology series by Tim Holtz to the card. I colored the edges of the sticker with black ink using a blending tool.

It is also nice to give the flowers an extra dimension with a glitter pen or a white gel pen.

Happy Birthday - Chocolate Baroque Guestdesigner

Here I am again. In November I will post three times a card as guest designer for Chocolate Baroque. I am very pleased to do this. Today is my birthday so I'm starting with a birthday card.

If you can dream it...

Today I will show you my 3th card I made as guest designer for Chocolate Baroque this month.

This time I made a card with different Distress inks.

I used the stamps from these sheets: 

Sunny Sunflowers

Harlequin Fragments

Words of Inspiration

Start sponging fresco finish through a stencil. I used the colors Candy Floss and Turquoise. Dry the fresco finish with a heat tool. I work on sturdy watercolor paper.

Spray Distress Spray Stain Kitsch Flamingo and Speckled Egg on the paper. Use water to make the ink flow. Let it dry for a while and then dry well with the heat tool. Drop water on the paper, let it soak for a while and dry with a tissue.

Stamp the harlequin three times with Distress Oxide Spekled Egg. If necessary, use a stamping platform to stamp it straight.

Splash with silver acrylic paint on your background paper. Let it dry completely. Using a stamping platform, stamp the text with Stazon Jet Black. Sponge the edges of the paper with Distress Oxide Speckled Egg.

Stamp the flower with Distress Oxide Speckled Egg on watercolor paper and emboss with Distress Glaze Speckled Egg. Color the flower with watercolor markers. Add some accents here and there with a Gelly Roll Stardust Glitter pen.

Achtergrond met Lyra Aquacolor

Werken met de Lyra Aquacolor krijtjes is gewoon geweldig. Je kunt er mee inkleuren en hele mooie achtergronden maken. Voor het inkleuren van de vlinders bracht ik wat krijt aan op een craftsheet en met een waterpenseel kleurde ik de vlinders in.

Voor de achtergrond gebruikte ik vier opeenvolgende tinten Lyra Aquacolor. Deze kleur je op een stuk stempelpapier en met een natte kwast laat je de kleurtjes in elkaar overvloeien. Bij voor keur het papier laten drogen aan de lucht.

Starflower - Impression Obsession

Om nog maar even in de Brusho-sferen te blijven....

Deze kaart maakte ik met Brusho Orange en Purple, voor de achtergrond. De Starflower, van Impression Obsession, heb ik geëmbossed met Earthone grape embossingpoeder van WOW. Vervolgens ingekleurd met de Brusho's. Op de achtergrond heb ik een stempel van de sheet Harlequin Fragments van Chocolate Baroque gebruikt. Het blijft heerlijk om zo gevarieerd te kunnen werken met Brusho.

On this card I used Brusho Orange and Purple for the background and for colouring the Starflower (Impression Obsession). The Starflower is embossed with Earthone Grape powder (WOW).
