Art Journey Challenge 101 - Reliëf

Voor de maand mei is het 'reliëf' het thema voor de Art Journey Challenge.

Maak een reliëf op je kaart met bijvoorbeeld modeling paste en een stencil of met een ander soortige pasta of met een embossingfolder of op een andere manier.

Het reliëf moet wel duidelijk te zien zijn.

Dit zijn mijn kaarten.

Chocolate Baroque - Fantastic Florals

Today it is my 3th and last time to post a card a guest designer for Chocolate Baroque. 

I hope you enjoyed my samples.

I used stamps from the sheets:

Fantastic Florals

The basis for this card is a previously made GelliPlate print with acrylic paint. On this I stamped the collage stamp of Fantastic Florals with black water resistant ink. I colored the balls of the flowers with red pencil and on top of that I applied gloss with the Wink of Stella Brush clear. 

The butterfly is embossed with gold embossing powder on a separate piece of white paper. I cut it out and stuck the butterfly off the black print.

I finished the whole thing on a white card

De basis voor deze kaart is een eerder gemaakte GelliPlate print met acrylverf. Hierop stempelde ik verschillende afdrukken met Distress Oxide en zwarte watervaste inkt. 

De vlinders stempelde ik op een restje van een GelliPlate print, ik knipte ze uit en plakte ze over de al eerder gestempelde vlinders.

I stamped the butterflies on a piece of a GelliPlate print, I cut them out and pasted them over the already stamped butterflies.

De GelliPlate biedt vele mogelijkheden om de basis te leggen voor een kaart. Ik gebruikte op de GelliPlate Fresco Finish van Paper Artsy. Een heel fijne verf, maar op de GelliPlate moet je er wel snel mee werken ander is het droog voor je het weet.

In combinatie met de Art Printing stempels van Carabelle Studio maak je snel de mooiste prints.

Eindelijk na een lange tijd show ik weer een kaart.

De basis voor deze kaart is een GelliPlate achtergrond met Fresco Finish van Paper Artsy. De stempel  met de vogels is van Magenta/Crafty Individuals.

Chocolate Baroque Guestdesigner: Spring garden

In March I will post three times a card as guest designer for Chocolate Baroque. I am very pleased to do this. My first project is a card made with a Gelli Plate Background

I used stamps from the sheets:

Tangled Garden

Briar Rose Butterfly

Harebell Butterfly

Create a background with the Gelli Plate using acryl paints. Emboss the big flower of Tangled Garden with embossingpowder and stamp the flowers and leaves with Memento Luxe ink on the Gelli Plate background. Color the flowers with pencils. Emboss three butterflies on watercolorpaper and color with markers.

Art Journey Challenge #87: Purple

De Art Journey Challenge #87 voor februari 2018 heeft het thema 'paars'.

Paars: de lievelingskleur van Jeanette. 

Vorig jaar, op 24 februari, overleed zij.

Jeanette was jaren lid van het Art Journey Designteam.

Voor mij was Jeanette:

Een heel fijne vriendin waarmee ik vele leuke en bijzondere avonturen heb beleefd.

Mijn steun en toeverlaat als ik keuzes moest maken. 

Een heel gezellige huisvriendin voor ons gezin, 

het was altijd feest als ze een weekend op bezoek kwam.

Ik mis haar iedere dag....

On a Gelli Plate Background I started with embossing the window with gold embossinpowder. Mask the window and use templates, stamps and ink to create your bakcground.

Emboss tulips with gold embossingpowder en color with markers and a waterbrush.

Chocolate Baroque Guestdesigner January 2017 - 2

Here I am again. This is my second post in January. I will show you today a card with a butterfly stamp from the sheet Fancy Flowers.

On a Gelli Plate background I used stamps, templates and ink. Stamp text with black ink.

Emboss the the butterfly and tulip with gold embossingpowder and color it with Zig-markers. Cut the tulip and butterfly and add it to your card.
