Today I will show you my 3th card I made as guest designer for Chocolate Baroque this month.

This time I made a card with different Distress inks.

I used the stamps from these sheets: 

Sunny Sunflowers

Harlequin Fragments

Words of Inspiration

Start sponging fresco finish through a stencil. I used the colors Candy Floss and Turquoise. Dry the fresco finish with a heat tool. I work on sturdy watercolor paper.

Spray Distress Spray Stain Kitsch Flamingo and Speckled Egg on the paper. Use water to make the ink flow. Let it dry for a while and then dry well with the heat tool. Drop water on the paper, let it soak for a while and dry with a tissue.

Stamp the harlequin three times with Distress Oxide Spekled Egg. If necessary, use a stamping platform to stamp it straight.

Splash with silver acrylic paint on your background paper. Let it dry completely. Using a stamping platform, stamp the text with Stazon Jet Black. Sponge the edges of the paper with Distress Oxide Speckled Egg.

Stamp the flower with Distress Oxide Speckled Egg on watercolor paper and emboss with Distress Glaze Speckled Egg. Color the flower with watercolor markers. Add some accents here and there with a Gelly Roll Stardust Glitter pen.

Poppies

De klaproos-stempel van Ludiec leent zich voor allerlei stempeltechnieken. Ik heb de stempel gebruikt op een mixed media achtergrond.

Prachtige stempel, ga ik zeker vaker gebruiken.

Starfishes

Op deze kaart heb ik gewerkt met de nieuwe stempels van Art Specially uit de 'zee-serie'.

Het jaarlijkse Art Specially Event vond dit jaar niet plaats, zoals zoveel geplande evenementen. Ik zou er sowieso niet naar toe gaan in verband met een fotoreis naar Isle of Sky (Schotland). Die reis was fantastisch en kon ik nog net afmaken voor het luchtruim min of meer sloot.

Onlangs bezocht ik de site van Art Specially en daar zag ik deze prachtige tulpstempel. Ik ben er direct mee aan de slag gegaan toen deze op mijn deurmat plofte.

AJC 113: Celebrate 17 years

In juni 2020 bestaat Art Journey 17 jaar; reden voor een feestje. 

Het thema voor de maandelijkse challenge is dan ook 17. Dus gebruik op je creatie het getal 17. Je mag een kaart maken, maar het is ook leuk als je kiest voor een andere creatie.

Op het Art  Journey Designteamblog vind je meer mooie feestelijke voorbeelden en informatie over deelname aan de challenge. Let op: deze maand zijn er meer prijzen te verdelen! 

Voor deze challenge heb ik weer eens al mijn Art Journey stempels bekeken. Wat zijn ze toch prachtig. Het formaat van de kaartjes is 10 bij 9,5 cm. De kaartjes heb ik geplakt op 2 aaneengeplakte papieren zakken.

Chocolate Baroque - Fantastic Florals

Today it is my 3th and last time to post a card a guest designer for Chocolate Baroque.

I used stamps from the sheets:

Fantastic Florals

The basis for this card is a previously made GelliPlate print with acrylic paint. On this I stamped the collage stamp of Fantastic Florals with black water resistant ink. I colored the balls of the flowers with red pencil and on top of that I applied gloss with the Wink of Stella Brush clear. 

The butterfly is embossed with gold embossing powder on a separate piece of white paper. I cut it out and stuck the butterfly off the black print.

I finished the whole thing on a white card

White Butterflies

De basis voor deze kaart is een eerder gemaakte GelliPlate print met acrylverf. Hierop stempelde ik verschillende afdrukken met Distress Oxide en zwarte watervaste inkt. 

De vlinders stempelde ik op een restje van een GelliPlate print, ik knipte ze uit en plakte ze over de al eerder gestempelde vlinders.

I stamped the butterflies on a piece of a GelliPlate print, I cut them out and pasted them over the already stamped butterflies.

De GelliPlate biedt vele mogelijkheden om de basis te leggen voor een kaart. Ik gebruikte op de GelliPlate Fresco Finish van Paper Artsy. Een heel fijne verf, maar op de GelliPlate moet je er wel snel mee werken ander is het droog voor je het weet.

In combinatie met de Art Printing stempels van Carabelle Studio maak je snel de mooiste prints.

Eindelijk na een lange tijd show ik weer een kaart.

De basis voor deze kaart is een GelliPlate achtergrond met Fresco Finish van Paper Artsy. De stempel  met de vogels is van Magenta/Crafty Individuals.
