Chocolate Baroque - Checkered Flowers

Deze maand ben ik weer guestdesigner voor Chocolate Baroque. Voor de eerste blogpost maakte ik een kaart met achtergrond met AquaTint.

In March I will post three times a card as guest designer. I am very pleased to do this. My first project is a card with watercolor background

I used stamps from the sheets:
Checkered Flowers
Dusky Damask
Fresh Blooms (text)

Make a background on aquarelle paper with three colors AquaTint (red, yellow and green). Allow the paper to dry well. Splash water on the paper with a fan brush. Dab dry with tissue paper.
Stamp the background stamp (from the sheet Dusky Damask) with Archival Peeled Paint and Spiced Marmelade. Stamp the Checkered Flowers with black water-resistant ink. Stamp the text with Archival Ground Espresso.
Color the flowers with aquamarkers.
Sponge the edges with Distress Oxide Peeled Paint and Ground Espresso.

The colours are gorgeous Corine and I love the damask and the flowers used here, and coloured so prettily. You have managed to get so much light into the area around the flowers like beautiful diffused sunlight. A fabulous card! x
